Polyamory, ENM & Open Relationship Therapy

I offer affirming couples therapy for polyamory, ethical non-monogamy (ENM), and open relationships.
My work supports partners navigating communication, jealousy, trust, boundaries, and the emotional complexity that can come with non-traditional relationship structures.

Couples Counseling in Orange County

Whether you’re newly partnered, navigating an open or polyamorous relationship structure, facing major transitions, or have been building your relationship for decades, my goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported — both individually and within your relationship system. I offer couples and individual therapy for monogamous, polyamorous, and ethically non-monogamous (ENM) relationships across California through telehealth.

Couples Counseling Throughout California

What does a typical session look like with a couples therapist?

In my work as a couples therapist, I take a caring and non-judgmental approach with all relationship structures — including monogamous, polyamorous, and open relationships.

In our sessions, we slow things down enough to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and explore how you and your partners can:

  • Improve communication to better suit your hopes for all your relationships

  • Rebuild trust

  • Attend to infidelity or betrayal from addictions

  • Navigate parenting, co-parenting career changes or life stress

  • Strengthen and clarify boundaries, agreements, and expectations

  • Make space for multiple attachment needs and relational commitments

Many of my clients have shared that finding a therapist who understands polyamory and ethical non-monogamy without judgment can feel surprisingly difficult. Learn what to look for and questions to consider when choosing a therapist.

How do I know if we really need couples therapy?

If you or your partners feel stuck, misunderstood, disconnected, or unable to resolve conflict on your own, couples therapy can offer a supportive space to work through what’s happening.

Many people in open or polyamorous relationships seek therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because the structure can bring added complexity — especially when it comes to communication, agreements, time, jealousy, and emotional needs.

How long does couples therapy take?

Every relationship is different. Some couples find a few sessions are helpful for clarity and direction, while others prefer ongoing support over time.

We can talk about what feels right for your situation during a free 15-minute consultation, and continue to check in as we work together.

Do you offer in-person or online couples therapy?

I offer both in-person sessions at my Carlsbad Village office and telehealth sessions for couples throughout California.
